WP Custom Login plugin updates released (Free: 3.2.1, PRO: 1.2.1): Live Preview Now Renders Images and Template Backgrounds

Today we’re publishing patch updates for both the free and PRO versions of WP Custom Login. This release fixes the live login-page preview so that images, logos, and template backgrounds now render exactly as they appear on the real login screen, making it a reliable guide while you design your page.

When we rebuilt WP Custom Login in 3.0.0, we added a live preview so you can see your login page take shape as you configure it. The preview runs inside a sandboxed iframe for safety, and that isolation had a side effect: some resources referenced by URL – your logo, background images, and the PRO template sliders – were not loading inside it. The preview still showed your colors, spacing, and typography correctly, but images came up blank. This release closes that gap.

Shared Updates (Free 3.2.1 & PRO 1.2.1)

  • Images now render in the preview: Your custom logo and any background images appear in the live preview just as they will on the published login page, so you can position and size them with confidence.
  • Accurate, true-to-life preview: Core login styles and scripts that previously failed to load inside the sandboxed preview now load correctly, so what you see while editing matches the final result.

PRO-Only Updates (1.2.1)

  • Template slider backgrounds restored in preview: PRO login-page templates that use a background slider now render and animate correctly in the live preview, so you can pick and fine-tune a template without publishing to check how it looks.

You can download the latest versions of the WP Custom Login plugin directly from WordPress.org (Free version) or the Customer Portal (PRO version).
